City of NANCY

The public transport services of Grand Nancy are organised by STAN:

• 1 Tramway line 
• 18 bus lines
• 1 mini bus line serving the city centre
• 4 feeding lines called « P’tit Stan »
• 1 line "transport on demand" called « MobiStan »
• 3 car parks Essey Mouzimpré, Saint Georges et Vandoeuvre Chu Brabois

These transport means serve a territory of 20 districts (communes) with a population of about 260 000 inhabitants. Operation services are provided by CONNEX.

The ticketing system has been renewed recently. It is now based on the combination of two technologies: contactless smart cards (CALYPSO) and magnetic tickets credit card size format (High coercitivity). This choice allows to answer the various needs of fare products at the best possible cost. Not to forget a full compatibility with the previous system which has provided a hassle free transition to passengers.

The new system (ATLAS) integrates capabilities to cater for intermodality and multi operators configurations. As a result, passengers fully benefit from a simplified usage of public transport in the territory which now extends beyond Grand NANCY boundaries.
